We wash our hands and use sanitizer a lot to keep healthy. Also, I have found that this winter we ate more fruits and veggies and drank lots of oj and water, and we barely got sick at all!

I will admit, I need to do a better job to prevent spreading the cold and flu. I need to make sure I wash my hands more often. Since I am at work all day with others and constantly shaking hands with strangers, anti-bacterial lotion has become my friend in killing germs.

My house use to look like a show home (before kids) It still drives me crazy looking around with toys as knick knacks haha but I’ve learned that my kids are just that kids. I can’t go around cleaning up after them. So yeah I still have a clean home but with a nice mix of toys on shelves in corners and everywhere else:)

Well Nichol, I am crazy like that right there with you. I can’t stand being sick! I bet you have the cleanest house around though. It sounds like you do a great job of keeping up with the housework. I wish I could do better.

Ahhh yes. I don’t prepare like I should but my fridge is always stocked with OJ. I also Lysol the heck out of my house and wipe handles, knobs etc daily. I’m crazy like that:)

I agree, being prepared for cold & flu season makes life so much easier, plus it saves you money since you can buy when things are on sale instead of grabbing something full price at the last minute.

Barbara, I love that book. I think it is a definite must read. I had never thought of myself as a “words of affirmation” type, but now that you say it, I think that may be part of my problem. Like you said, words can hurt me so badly, so easily. I am trying really hard to work on it. My mouth to God’s ears!
