When couples begin planning a family it is one of the most exciting times of their lives. However, what starts as something romantic and beautiful can all too often become a source of stress and frustration. Did you know that infertility impacts 1 in 6 couples?
As a matter of fact, my husband and I were one of those couples. I was in my early 30’s when we decided it was time to try for our first child. We were so full of hope and excitement at the prospect of becoming pregnant. One thing we didn’t know was that we were starting out with the odds stacked against us from the beginning. I mean who Googles the statistics on fertility, impact of age, etc. before they try to conceive a child? Not us!!
Come to find out a woman’s fertility declines rapidly every year after age 30. The first few months when we weren’t pregnant, we didn’t think much about it. We were in love and having fun with trying, so we just continued what we were doing. When the 6th month rolled around, so did the tears and frustration. Sex became more pressured and less enjoyable for both of us. Each month we would tell ourselves we were pregnant, only to be disappointed when it proved to be a false alarm.
My doctor would tell me to be patient and started me with charting my temperature each morning. Talk about taking the fun out of things. I would get so stressed out if I forgot to take my temperature before I got out of bed.
Luckily for my husband and I, after a year and a half of working diligently towards achieving our goal of a family, it happened. Just after the year I turned 35, we welcomed a son into our lives. It was a long road of ups and downs with medications, tests and doctor appointments after doctor appointments that I wouldn’t wish on anyone if it could be avoided. With a product called the Stork OTC, it just may be.
The Stork OTC is the first and only device for conception assistance that meets the FDA’s requirements for being sold over-the-counter, without a prescription. It is used for several of the most common fertility issues such as:
- Motility issues with sperm
- Diminished sperm count (low sperm count)
- Unfavorable vaginal environment
- Unexplained infertility
In a clinical study 85% of participants saw that the Stork OTC delivered a 3.23x higher value of sperm concentration at the cervix compared to the value of sperm concentration with natural intercourse.
There is no longer the need to wait 6 months to a year to get expensive fertility help from the doctor. The Stork OTC is designed to be used in the comfort of your own home and has a price point of $79.99 for a single unit device.
