There are so many things about being a woman that give me reason to celebrate, however, being a woman also comes with a few negatives that I would trade any day. It’s no surprise to any woman that at least once a month our lives are put on hold because of discomforts associated with menstrual periods. The problem with that is for many like myself, the discomfort last much longer than that. For me, symptoms begin about a week before I start my period and then a few days after as well. So basically, I get about a week and half that I actually feel normal and comfortable in my own body each month. That’s definitely the part I would trade about being female.
Each month I experience cramps, ovarian cysts and breast discomfort that comes from menstruation. Let’s not even talk about the irritability and mood swings…. Most of these symptoms come and go fairly quickly, with the exception of one, the breast discomfort. It is about a 2 and a half week long ordeal every single month. I know many of you know exactly what I am talking about. The tenderness, swelling and aches make life a lot less enjoyable and it’s not something we should have to experience.
A recent survey revealed that 87 percent of women think this discomfort is normal.
I hate to admit it, but I am one of those in the 87 percentile. I had no idea that there was anything that could be done to help improve menstrual-related breast discomfort, so I have never even thought to ask.
Eighty-one percent have not consulted a doctor about their breast discomfort or tenderness.
When I received an email about an over-the-counter supplement called Violet that is designed to address breast discomfort, I knew I wanted to learn more. If I didn’t know about about a treatment for this problem, I knew others may not as well.
Violet iodine is a first of its kind non-prescription, once-daily, non-hormone supplement that helps to promote breast health and alleviate menstrual-related breast discomfort. I have not had the opportunity to start the product yet, but I do intend to start as soon as it arrives. I have read that it takes roughly 60 days to notice a difference, but that others may experience relief sooner. Either way, I am just hoping it helps to reduce my discomfort.
Violet iodine is taken every day on an empty stomach. When the two forms of iodine found in Violet mix with the acidity found in the stomach, they combine to form molecular iodine. Molecular iodine helps to restore the healthy and natural balance of breast cells and reduce the tenderness and discomfort we experience monthly.
I don’t understand the whole process, but because it is completely drug-free, I am willing to give it a try. In addition to taking Violet iodine, I also intend on exercising regularly, watching my diet and having yearly mammograms. All of which are important for maintaining good breast health.
If you are one of the many like me that suffer with menstrual-related breast discomfort or dense breast tissue, read more about Violet iodine to see if it may be right for you. You can find more information about the product at VioletDaily.com or by visiting them on Facebook or Twitter.
