Netflix : Children’s Programming Anytime, Anywhere.

The kids and I love laying on the couch together after my son gets home from school and watching a television show or two on NETFLIX.  It has become a bit of a ritual around our house.  I make them a snack and we snuggle while checking out the latest episode of H20: Just Add Water.

Just Add Water on Netflix

Most of you may not have even heard of H20: Just Add Water, but we found it earlier in the year.  With NETFLIX it is easy to find new shows appropriate to watch with children.  They have a dedicated area for children shows that cater to ages 2-12.  Even better, they just added a lot of programs from Hasbro, Disney Jr., Cartoon Network and/or PBS.

I love that the kids and I have our little routine together.  I never have to worry that the program won’t be available to watch, because I can cue it up any time I want.  If you are a mom, you know how frustrating it can be when the kids want to watch their favorite show and it’s not on.  For some reason, little ones don’t understand that certain shows don’t air at all times of the day.

Luckily for us, most of the shows they don’t want to miss are now available at the push of a button.  With NETFLIX, there is never a shortage for devices to watch from either.  We usually watch our program using the Wii U, but we can also stream NETFLIX using the iPad, Roku or computer.

Netflix Just for Kids

Eventually I am sure we will run out of episodes of H20: Just Add Water to watch.  However, when we do it’s nice to know that we can browse the many other kids shows available on NETFLIX and start a new adventure together.

For now I am loving that my daughter wants to be a mermaid when she grows up and my son is content to snuggle his mom after a day at school.  Life is so short and I will take all of these special moments I can get.
