Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light: After Four Weeks of Use

One thing that I strive for on a regular basis is a clear complexion.  I mean who doesn’t?   I have heard that using blue light therapy is a great way to work towards accomplishing that, so I decided to give it a try.  Here is my experience after using the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light for four weeks.

For starters, the best acne treatment I have ever found is drinking lots of water and eating healthy foods.  However, I didn’t do so well at keeping up with that regimen, which is why I went to the light treatment.

Before Tria Blue Light

Before I began using the light treatment

I can honestly say that I put the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light to the test over the past four weeks.  I have stayed up late, eaten poorly, stressed over my son starting kindergarten and been sick.  Yep, pretty much all the things that make your skin look less than appealing.  So how did I end up?

I can’t say that I feel like the light treatment made a large difference when it came to my breakouts.  Although, I do take a large part of that responsibility on myself.  On the other hand,  I saw a big change in the appearance of my pores and texture of my skin.

Even without my breakouts completely disappearing, I felt better about my complexion overall.  Even my mom commented on my skin several times over the past couple of weeks.

The blue light treatment was very easy to work into my daily routine, because it could be done anywhere.  It became one of my favorite parts of the day.  I found the treatment to be relaxing and enjoyed feeling the warmth on my skin.  It is something I will definitely continue to use on a daily basis.

After Tria Blue LightThere is no doubt that the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light made a difference in the appearance of my skin.  I wonder if it could have accomplished more if I were more disciplined with myself?

Have any of you tried blue light therapy or wanted to try it?  What kind of outcome did you have with it?

  1. Did it hurt to use? I have used the Tria that removes hair…and it can be painful in some spots!

Hi Kayla, that is a great question. This product does not hurt at all. It is actually relaxing for me. It has a nice warm feeling from the blue light, but not hot at all! Doesn’t irritate the face or leave redness. Hope that helps. I am happy to answer any other questions you may have.

  2. I’m actually really excited to try this because I’m always looking for a good product to minimize pores. Have you ever tried artistry?

  3. Looks pretty good! I struggle with breakouts too, it’s so annoying to have crows feet and acne at the same time!
