Grocery Shop & Save Money: Just For U by Safeway

Clipping coupons is not my thing.  I have tried it in the past, but it was hard to find the time to add it to my schedule.  I also found that I ended up cutting coupons for a lot of things I didn’t actually use, simply because I thought it was a bargain.  Listen up guys, if you don’t enjoy spicy foods and yet you purchase jalapenos because you have a  coupon, you aren’t really saving money.  That is why I am thrilled with the new Safeway program “Just For U” that was recently rolled out for customers like myself.

Just For U provides consumers with coupons that don’t require scissors and aren’t time consuming.  Basically, this means the program  fits into anyone’s schedule, no matter how busy they are.  As a matter of fact, with the Just For U Safeway program you won’t just save money, you will save yourself time as well.

Using the Just For U program is simple.  The only thing you need to get started is your Safeway Club Card, which you are more than likely already using.  One very important thing to remember is to make sure you are using “your” Safeway Club Card and not someone else’s. (not that I have EVER done this)  The reason for this, is that the Just For U program goes off of your shopping history to provide you with coupons for products you actually purchase on a regular basis.

Once you have your Safeway Club Card, you visit the Safeway website to register for the Just For U Program.  It is free and for registering, you will receive an instant coupon for a free dozen eggs.  That makes it worth the few minutes it takes to get set up.  After that, it is all about the savings.

While you are at the Safeway website, check out the personalized savings (like your own weekly circular), coupon center and club specials.  Add the coupons you would like to use to your shopping list with a click of the mouse and then email or print it to take to the store with you.  You are even able to create your entire shopping list from their website by adding items individually.

The next time you want to send your significant other to the store for groceries on his/her way home from work, just email them over your shopping list. They won’t forget to bring home anything this way.
