There are certain times when I find myself looking in a mirror and wondering what happened to my skin. As a teenager, I had a fairly nice complexion. Oh, I had the occasional breakouts during my special girl visit, but other than that, my skin didn’t have many issues.
I remember girls talking about how every time a special event came up they were sure to end up with the North Star on the tip of their nose, but not me. I always felt like the lucky one. However, now that I am older, something has changed….darn hormones I suppose.
My daily face routine is the same, it consists of washing my skin both morning and night. I use the latest and greatest when it comes to skincare, yet still my face breakouts on a consistent basis. I research online regularly for the best ways to get rid of acne . I scour the web looking for the best acne product reviews hoping to find the perfect product that will bring back my youthful glow.
So far what I find on a regular basis with my online search for “best acne treatment” is light treatment. I have had light treatments done on my face when I was having a facial, but I never really knew what they were for. After my research, I have learned quite a bit about the benefits of light therapy for the skin.
I am currently working on gaining back my clear complexion with the use of blue light therapy. The light therapy I am trying over the next four weeks is from Tria. The Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light is FDA-Cleared and helps to eliminate the bacteria that causes breakouts.
As with most people, I feel better about myself when my skin is clear. I feel like at my age, I deserve to not have to worry about wrinkles and blemishes too. I am thrilled to try the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light to see if it can help me to gain back some of my confidence. I understand now how those girls in high school felt as they tried to cover every imperfection on their face.
Do you struggle with breakouts? Follow along with me as I share my results after using blue light therapy for four weeks.

Let us know how it is working… as I am having the same issue lately
Hm, at $245, it is not the cheapest solution, but if it`s effective it would be worth the price. Let us know if it is working out for you, I may be interested in buying it…
Hi Sheela, Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. Here is a link to the follow up post I did after four weeks. http://guessingalltheway.com/2012/07/tria-skin-perfecting-blue-light-after-four-weeks-of-use/ I don’t think that it is the best solution for the breakouts. I have recently been trying a new product however and I love it. It is called Repiderm. It is not that expensive and it is really helping with the occasional breakouts I have been having. I will be writing about it soon. Check it out online and see what you think.
