My 4 Week Review for Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford

What is it that you look for when finding the right skincare?  Are you most concerned with the price, the amount of products you will have to use or finding the skincare that matches your individual needs?  Any of the previous concerns would be considered reasonable things to desire in your skincare line.  Unfortunately, finding products that fit all the demanding needs of our face can be challenging.

As most of us know, Cindy Crawford has a skincare line called Meaningful Beauty.  I was recently given the opportunity to sample the Meaningful Beauty line that included 5 full sized products and 2 sample products.  You can read my initial thoughts in my first post that was written before I began the skincare regimen.

It has now been four weeks since I started to use the Meaningful Beauty products on my skin, so I wanted to share my thoughts on how they worked for me.

SKIN SOFTENING CLEANSER

The cleanser that comes in the starter kit is 2.0 fl oz.  It is a creamy consistency and therefore completely non-foaming.  The Skin Softening Cleanser can be applied to either a wet or dry face, though I preferred to use it on wet skin.

For the first few days that I used this product, I noticed that my skin became a little drier.  I find that with most skin products I try, my skin needs about a week to adjust.  After the initial start of the skincare line, my skin began to even out and the dryness faded.

The one thing that did not change for me over the course of the four weeks was a slight burning sensation on my skin.  In all fairness, I do have sensitive skin and therefore often find products irritate it.  There was no noticeable redness, just a minor tingle for about 30 seconds after use.

Creme de Serum

The kit that I received had Cindy’s product Creme de Serum.  In my first post, I mentioned that it was the product I was most interested in trying.  I am a sucker for products that are different or look unique.

I used a couple pumps of the product each morning after I was finished cleansing my face.  This particular product is designed to fight the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  At this stage in my life, that is very important to me when looking for products to use daily.

The Creme de Serum absorbed nicely into the skin and didn’t leave me feeling oily.  However, it turned out surprisingly enough to be my least favorite of the five products I tried.  I guess for me it seemed like an extra step in the routine without any visible results.

LIFT & FIRM EYE CREAM

Any woman who is 40+ will probably tell you that eye cream is essential in helping to hide aging eyes.  When my eyes are dry underneath, my makeup doesn’t go on as smoothly and fine lines and wrinkles are amplified.

The Meaningful Beauty Lift & Firm Eye Cream did a very nice job of absorbing into the delicate eye area.  It was smooth and moisturizing without being greasy.  If you have ever tried an eye cream that did not absorb into the skin, then you know the importance of finding one that does.  There is nothing more frustrating than applying eye makeup and having your eye cream ball up beneath your eye.

SKIN BRIGHTENING DECOLLETE AND NECK TREATMENT SPF15

This product was the one that I enjoyed the most out of the five I tried.  I can honestly say that before trying this skincare regimen, I rarely used any product on my neckline.  I believe that is one of the biggest mistakes I make in my daily routine.

Think about older women that you see.  I have seen some that have such youthful looking faces, but their neck and chest area give away their age.  It is just as important to take care of your chest and neck area to maintain a younger appearance.  I will definitely continue to use products on these areas daily.

I was really pleased that this particular product uses SPF15 to protect the skin from harmful rays.  It feels very nice when applying it to the skin and left me feeling soft and supple.

ANTIOXIDANT DAY CREME SPF20

Because I live in Colorado where it is very dry, moisture is very important to my skin.  Sun protection is also very important since we have more sunny days in our state than most.

I appreciate that the Day Creme had SPF20 that protects my skin from both UVB/UVA rays.  The creme was not heavy and I was able to apply makeup directly after without feeling greasy.   The cremes in this skincare line in general were very nice and all absorbed well into my face, neck and chest area.

My experience with the Meaningful Beauty line overall went fairly well.  One thing that I felt was missing from an Anti-Aging face kit, was a night cream.  While you are sleeping is the perfect time to allow your skin to heal and repair itself.  I was very surprised to find this was not included as part of the skincare line.

I visited the Meaningful Beauty website after receiving the kit and they do offer a night cream that could be purchased separately.   I think it would be a great addition to the kit if they would include it.  Since I needed the additional moisture, I did begin to use a separate night cream after a couple of weeks.

Four weeks after using the product, I wouldn’t say I am any closer to looking like a younger version of myself.  Of course by using a product for 30 days, that would be asking a lot.  While I wouldn’t say that these are products I would continue to use for my personal skin type, they did have a few products that worked well for me.

Be sure to read others reviews on the Meaningful Beauty line before deciding what is best for you.  Skincare is an extremely personal choice and what works well for one may not work well for another.

Meaningful Beauty also offers a 60 day money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with the products.

Pros:  The entire skincare line took less than 5 minutes to complete, SPF protection, absorbs nicely

Cons:  The kit did not come with a night cream as part of the package (though I do believe they now have some that do), the cleanser did not work well on my sensitive skin, did not work well during times of breakout, results after 4 weeks were minimal.

I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf Meaningful Beauty and received a 5-step treatment kit to facilitate my review, a second 5-step treatment kit to giveaway, and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”

Thanks for the great review. I’ve been on the fence about ordering this or not. I think I’ll stick to what I am doing since I know what i have works.

    • What do u use that works?

      • Clueless Mama says:

That is a great question Tiana. I should have asked her that. I need something that works for adult breakouts.

        • cody's mama says:

Try a paste of plain aspirin and water or milk if you like. Leave it on for 10 minutes a day. Don’t use you are allergic to aspirin. It might make you sneeze if you get too close to nostrils. This worked great for me!!!

          • Another great and natural product is tea tree oil. Smells horrible but works great! Just dab on the affected areas and they’ll dry up. However, you don’t want to be overzealous with the application. Can be found at Whole Foods. Lavender oil works well also. Recommended to me by an aesthetician.

        • Jeanne Wayne says:

          Hi All!
Have you ever tried Neosporin on your break outs? My teenage son had horrible break outs, he uses Neosporin ever night and his skin is clear. I’m 49 and every time I feel a pimple form I dap some on and the next day it’s almost gone. It works. If you think about it Neosporin is to kill bacteria and pimples are bacteria under your skin. I don’t think Doctors tell you about it because then they can’t sell you there expensive products. Also I have only used Oil of Olay since I was a teenager the basic moisturizing product. I almost have no wrinkles and I live in South Florida where I am in the sun everyday! Sometimes the simple products are the best.

          • Sarah Wilkerson says:

Ditto. I’ve used Oil of Olay since I was 12, I’m now 46 and no one believes me. I also use Neosporin on any breakout and yes it works. I believe simple works. I’ve tried a few other products over the years, both expensive and not, but I always go back to good ol’ Oil of Olay. Not the fancy stuff, I always buy the $8 bottle of the original blend. I thought I’d check the reviews of this product because Cindy looks fabulous-wondered if there were others with similar results because of the product.

          • Clueless Mama says:

After reading these comments, I went to try and buy some Oil of Olay. I can’t find the stuff y’all are talking about. I only find the new products from Oil of Olay. Where do you purchase it from?

          • Super-Duper website! I’m loving it!! Will be back later to read some more. I am bookmarking your feeds as well.

        • Leslie Fennell says:

I have been reading all the reviews and would like to thank you all so much. I too, was thinking about meaningful beauty, I’m no longer interested. Some people have mentioned they have had acne since their teen years. I also have had that problem. I tried everything. Finally, I decided to make something of my own. I have been using it for 3 yrs. and it works great. Even takes away the redness. I’m 49 years old and even skin care promoters say I have nice skin and minimal wrinkles for my age and they tell me this is the advantage of oily skin. lol I would like to warn people that it is very drying to the skin, but only placed on the affected area. It is more for people who get 1-3 pimples at a time and cannot get rid of them. It is a spot treatment. Not for use on the entire face. If you are like me and still get annoying pimples, please feel free to contact me at fennell.leslie@yahoo.com. If it is a small pimple, it usually works overnight. If it is a large under the skin blemish, it will depend on how soon u catch it. But, it should only takje 2 nights of treatment.

      • I’ve been told that I have really great skin for my age and often told I look 10years
Younger than my real age. This can be contributed to being into skin care starting in my late 20′s.

But these are just a few steps I live by.
After a hot shower, I rinse my face for a couple of minutes with just cold water. Then before my face is complete dry I use liquid ( water based lotion on my face) and tap my face gently till it is absorbed before using emulsion lotion. Cold water is known to tighten and make your pores smaller.

I’m a huge fan of facial products and after many failed attempts, I found some products to be really good.

I love suhlwhasoo water lotion/toner and their eye cream. The water base is thick, almost syrup like and in the summer, that’s enough to keep my skin moisturizer and not oily. Their eye cream is really silky and light but absorbs great.

I also love face shop face masks!!.. The ones that are individually packed ($2-3 each). I use them when I’ve been out in the sun a long time and my face becomes super dry or during the harsh winter months ( maybe every 2 weeks).

Can’t say this works for everyone but Hopefully it works for some of you out there.

      • I was watching the Meaningful Beauty infomercials tonight. So, I immediately started researching reviews on the internet. I just discovered an amazing product that does actually produce results. And, it’s only one product (easy for me), a night cream…NeriumAD. I loved it so much that I signed up as an independent brand partner. That’s saying a lot because I have a day job and my own business already. I just couldn’t say no because I was going to tell my friends about it anyway! Don’t even get me started on the company who’s motto is loving, caring, sharing. I got real results. It made my sun damaged chest look normal again. My husband got even better results than me! They have third party clinical trials that show an average of 30% results in the appearance of fine lines, deep lines, coloration, texture, pore size and emerging lines. Check out my website at http://www.amplify.nerium.com. If you have any questions just contact me.

If you are depending on this product being delivered forget about that. I ordered on Dec. 16, 2012 for Christmas present for my daughter. As of today Jan. 5, 2013 still no product.
No indication the product was on back order. On 12-31-12 I received a message via email the product had been shipped.
Keep in mind I had paid extra for UPS delivery before Christmas. 12-25-12. That’s 9 days.
Jan 5 2013 still no product delivered.
I got an email that said follow this link to UPS to track your order.
No number to track. UPS website of course said..What the heck? There isn’t a tracking number.
There is no tracking number because according to “Sophia” at customer service, they ship UPS to the local post office. What? What?
Sophia, at customer service was the rudest woman I have ever encountered.
Summation: If it goes right for them, you are home free. If it doesn’t put your tray in the upright position, put your head between your knees and kiss you order goodbye.
      Good luck.
      Cindy you suck.
Get a grip on your order fulfillment department. If people pay for a product and cant get it delivered it’s not going to do any good.

      • Same thing has happened to me ! I called an placed my order on Jan.3,2013 waited the 5/7 working days and never received it . So I called to check the order an was told my card was never oked for use , so I placed yet another order gave them the okay to charge my card as before . That was on the 10th of this month . And nowy bank tells Meyer card has not been charged as of yet , I believe the owe me the package for free for all the trouble they’ve put me though !!

      • Marty Newman says:

My complaint is also with the fulfillment and billing department, and who she uses is Cindy Crawforfs responsibility. I called and stopped the order because I just didn’t realize how much it was going to cost. They did not stop sending it. I returned shipments they did not credit me for. I protested the charges with my credit card company.I returned the product and protested my bill in July. in late August, even after I had just moved on the 1st! they sent another shipment! I happened to be outsde when the postman came and I told him I was refusing it and he took it back with him. On Sept 20, my credit card company sent me a letter saying all was settled.
I am still receiving bills from “Guthy-Renker” threatening debt collection for $149.00. I just spent three hours yesterday looking up information and sending them a letter detailing what happened and why I don’t owe this money! .

I recommend you do not deal with this company.

      • Great Karma says:

I have nothing but good luck and great service with Gunthy Renker (who I orseredbthe Meaningful Beauty kit from). My products come on time, usually a few days quicker than expected and they are very accomodating if I want to postpone my automatic ship date for the refill.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience but I don’t think that is the norm.

    • Jacqueline keller says:

This product burnt my face and left my eyes looking like I just was in a ring with rocky. Product is horrible, I will not recommend to my dog. Biggest waste of money I ever spent.

    • Have you tried Nerium?? Any Ideas on that product? Any and all suggestions would be great! I have forever puberty skin…I break out just like when i was a teen and I joke about how oily i am…its really starting to impact my regular day life. Im almost 30 and I want to have the almost 30 skin not the almost 15… :-/

      • Hi Charlene,
Yes, Nerium is fantastic and has the science to back it up! Please feel free to contact me for more information. If you’d like to try it for free for 5 days to see for yourself the Nerium experience I’d be happy to help you do that. I love this product and I’ve gotten some really amazing results in a short period of time.

        • Hi I’ve never heard of nerium, I don’t know what’s going on with me, I’m 48 have oily skin& breaking out like 16, only I never had pimple till my 30s??? • Janeen,
Please contact me at teambauman2@gmail.com for more information.
Can’t reiterate how much I love this product.
I can totally relate to having pimples at this age, not fun!
I would love to talk more about this with you.

          • Janeen,
I am 50 and have had acne since my teens. There are three products I swear by that, when I use them faithfully, eliminate the acne. These are Tazorac (night), Metrogel (day) from a dermatologist (these are prescription drugs), and Neutrogena oil free acne wash with Salycilic acid. I wash my face at least twice a day. Also, to solve the makeup problem, I have invested in permanent makeup and lash extensions. I get compliments regularly on how nice my face looks, and that I look way younger than I am. The only makeup I put on my face is CornSilk. This all works wonderfully for the acne, but is not helping the wrinkles around my eyes, which is why I was considering Meaningful Beauty. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer with sunscreen because I like the glow it gives my skin. I’m experimenting with various eye creams but haven’t found a good one. After reading the comments on this site, I think I’ll try Oil of Olay for that.

            Best of luck,
            Rebecca

Sometimes the changes in hormones as we near menopause will cause breakouts. This also happen to me. Hadn’t had a breakout since my teens and now its worse then it was then. Found out I’m estrogen dominate and have to take progesterone. Was prescribed Aldactone to help lower my testosterone level.

          • chelsea says:

I had pimples and bad skin in elementary school…I tried everything. Finally, when I was about 18 I found a really good make up and just gave up. No expensive soaps and chemicals, and not worrying as much. I use just a regular anti bacterial hand soap (it actually has an active ingredient so look for that) and a good lotion… I also like aveno positevely radient, but I also think not picking and probing and popping plays a lot… which naturally will happen if you do too much to your face all the time. Oh also, one day I decided to try a neutrogena make up… I broke out. My mom used neutrogena religiously, and so did I as a child, and only used more which made it worse…go figure.
Use antibiitic creme if anything (double or triple…neosporin) and antibacterial soap. It works for me.

          • Some genuinely good stuff on this web site, I enjoy it.

          • I tried Nerium. Very expensive and did not see results after 60 days. And it smells funny. I was trying to diminish wrinkles and it did nothing. Just sayin

        • Kathleen Lochner says:

Is it only for oily skin? I have dry skin.

          Thanks!

          • Hi. I discovered your blog and this is an incredibly well written post.

I’ll bookmark it and return to read more of your useful info.
Thanks for the post. I’ll really keep coming back.

        • Leslie Fennell says:

I would love to try Nerium.

      • Lauren, I’m no skin expert but check your diet and stress levels. Poor diet can contribute to breakouts and stress is often processed through the skin. Try eating a more “natural” diet and find ways to manage stress such as deep breathing, meditation, and yoga.

        • Hi Maggie,
I don’t know if you were talking to me or the other Lauren on this thread, but I totally agree with you on the diet and stress levels being a source of breakouts. I am a holistic health coach and know the power of food and power of lifestyle changes in relation to our overall wellbeing. :-)

    • Joey Brooks says:

What do you have that works for you??! PLEASE DO SHARE :D

      • Ponds Cream it works and is cheaper and you don’t have to pay $39.00 and don’t get it because once they get yor credit car infor it is game on………….

    • Roxanne Rodarye says:

May I ask what product you are using?

    • What product do you use that you know works? I am in need of a strong product to fight the bags under neath my eyes! thanks!

      • I wish I had an answer for that one Devona. I am really starting to see crows feet, etc. around my eyes. I need something that works as well. When I find it, I will let you gals know:)

  2. Clueless Mama says:

I am so glad that this review helped you out. I get nervous doing reviews like this one, because everyone has different skin. Hopefully I explained enough for you to decide if it sounded like a good fit for you. What products do you currently use?

    • juana morales says:

I was quite surprised to find that it actually dimished my pores. I have tried Olay Regenerist, Olay serum, Olay spf20 I’ve tried all of them and none of them left my skin looking soft and for once pretty. I’m 49 years old and I really did like the products the only thing I didn’t like was the miniature samples you pay an arm and a leg for that’s ridiculous, other than that I probalby won’t re-order too pricey.

  3. I love this line of products and will probably use for life. The products have made my skin look brand new! Sorry the cleanser didn’t work well for you.

    • Aaah nichol

Please dont think I’m being rude but you look a little young ,not 40 plus. Although you are beautiful maybe thats why it worked so well for you michelle

  4. I have been wanting to try this for a while. What holds me back is whenever I google a review I constantly read that Customer Service is awful and even after you can cancel, they still bill you.

I need a new routine, and I am very interested in Meaningful Beauty but I may try to find something else.

    • Buy it al Sephora inside JC Penny!

      • JCP pulled it off the shelves. I’ve heard bad reviews in my research as my mom wanted this (she’s almost 60). I think she thought she would become youthful like Cindy but she only has good genes period. If you start a skin care regime early in your teens, you have a good chance of having good skin later even if not in your genes.

    • Randa – I would love to share personalized skin care with you!

    • Great Karma says:

Please read my comment above…great servixe thru Gunthy Renker. I received my shipment a few days quicker than expect and have always had good luck with the company postponing my auto ship order if needed. Never have had billing issues with this company. They immediately refunded my money when I did have an issued with another product line.

  5. Clueless Mama says:

I never had the opportunity to work with their customer service, but I am like you, I like to have good customer service. I think you can find it now without doing the monthly charges too. I hope you find products that work great for you soon.

  6. Judychartrand says:

I only searched the reviews on the Meaningful Beauty products to see what users were saying about it. I normally use expensive, high quality products, but any time you can buy a good product for less, then you most certainly want to look into it.
After reading the reviews on this page, and other sites, I do not think it would interest me at all. I have been using Obagi skin care for a few years. I have had better results from it than any other skin care products I have used, and they have been many. My second Choice is Dee Simmons, which I like very much, but i can get the Obagi products through Amazon for much less than Dee Simmons.
I gave my Mom some Obagi products, as she had been under stress and was looking 10 years old. She is now hooked on the Obagi, and is looking younger, and her skin tone is much better.
I am 51 and everyone thinks I look 41. I will have to say, it is not totally the Obagi that did that, I have the genes for looking younger, but stress puts on the years, so it is nice to have good skin care that helps facilitate a healthier appearance.

    • Judy- We can offer personalized skin care that compares to & exceeds those prestige retail bands, including Obaji. Our TFF brand is the closet you can get to Botox without injections! We invest in our products & not retail space & commercial advertising. I would love to help you with your skin analysis & any questions you my have!

      • hi, what is TFF?

        • Clueless Mama says:

Hi Sidney, I went and Googled to try and find out for you. It looks like it is BeautiControl Regeneration Tight, Firm & Fill Face Creme. I don’t know anything about it, but maybe you can find some reviews online. Hope that helps.

    • Need to try Obagi. Have you ever tried Philosophy or Origins?

  7. Essential Woman says:

Thanks for sharing you experience with these products. I was going to order them and try them but I wasn’t sure if it was for all skin types. I have been using Rodan + Fields and these products are awesome. My friend had very sensitive skin. It would bleed and everything. She had been using R+ F and after 60 days her skin was amazing and she has been using these products for a year. So if you are looking for some amazing products you need to take a look at these. There are products for sensitive skin, anti aging, spots & acne. These products were sold in Nordstrom and created by 2 world renowned doctors.

I used to use Proactiv when I was younger and had great results. I am sure I would love the anti-aging line. Maybe I will look into it. Thanks for letting me know that it works well.

    • I tried the sensitive line of Roden-Fields. No special results other than more clogged pores and blackheads. Way over priced too. Sales is based on MLS scheme, so that should tell you something about who ever is trying to sell it too you.

  8. This appears to be a very honest & complete review. I would love to offer you a clinical gade skincare line to try & review. It would be specific to your skincare needs. Our BC Spa Facial is Paraben free, Sulfate free, Gluten free, & free of artificial dyes & fragrances. It incorporates nti-aging within each step & penetrates to do more than just “clean”. The basic set is 4 pieces, 4 steps. The complete set is 6 pieces with 5 steps. You will also be prescribed personalized advanced products based on your skin’s needs. I would LOVE to share these with you nd anyone else wanting quality skin care that everyone an afford. We have been improving skin & changing lives for over 31 years & under Tupperware Global Brands since 2000!

    • Hi Jennifer – If your offer still stands, I would love to try out your skin care line :) Just ordered the initial Meaningful Beauty kit and expecting it sometime next week. Can we talk offline somehow to discuss the line that you have to offer? I have combo skin and am having a hard time finding “the” system that works for me. Dark spots are coming through on my almost-40 face, dark circles on eyes and I’m noticing more lines than I care for… especially the horizontal one right across my forehead!! The Avon line-filler doesn’t really work on it (I think it’s just a stick of wax), and none of the store-bought creams I’ve tried have worked either. Please help! And thank you :)

    • I’m 51 years old and have some major health issues not to mention major stress in my family life over the past 4 1/2 years. My face has seriously aged over this time. I’m raising 3 grandchildren ages 13, 8 and 6 years old. I wish I could find a product that could lift my sagging face, take away the grayish dulness and smooth wrinkles. I just feel like gravity has taken a serious hold on my face. Please HELP!!! I have just ordered the Murad skin care line. I’ll see what happens. I haven’t had any luck with info. commercial products in the past though. At this point I’m willing to try just about anything.

      • Kathleen Short says:

        Hi Betty,
I am 55 years old and my skin looked gray. My Mom recommended Clairsonic Mia Sonic skin cleanser, and I tried it and although they are pricey, they are well worth it.
My gray skin disappeared. The brush was gray after my first use! I got mine at Sephora. I use my favorite Neutrogena cleanser with it, instead of the cleanser they sell. Then I follow with my usual skin care routine, morning and night .My Mom has used hers for a few years and she is 76 and her skin is beautiful.

    • Dawn Marie Papson says:

Jennifer: Is BC Spa separate consultants from Tupperware? I’ve been trying for years to get my skin balanced and it’s hard. I sold MaryKay for a while and although great for most people, after about 2 years, my skin wouldn’t accept it anymore. I’ve tried Arbonne, which I liked but was really expensive after a while and have been using Proactiv Gentle lately but cannot stand Guthy-Renker for customer service and want something that is really good for my skin. Please contact me with any info you can. Thanks.

      • Thanks so much for an additional post. I am happy to be
able to get that kind of information.

    • Jennifer. How do I participate in your offer assuming it still stands? Thanks!

  9. I am going to try Meaningful Beauty, if the first kit, ever gets here.
I have been using Victoria Principal’s “Reclaim” with Argireline, kit for 4 months….and I have to say, that I love it! The kit comes with Day Cream, Night Cream, Serum, Intensive Eye cream, a gentle cleanser, and a wonderul Mask, that I use twice a week. Every month you get 2-3 gifts, along with your kit, and all for about $37 month. My skin has gotten younger by 10 years. I get so many compliments on my skin, and can now wear less makeup, as the Reclaim has corrected my skin problems.
I was just wanting to see what the fuss was all about with Meaningful Beauty and they offered the WEN Haircare system for a nominal charge. I am thinking of cancelling my order. There has been NO confirmation of my order, or notification of it being shipped. I am beginning to feel as though “Meaningful Beauty” IS a scam that bilks American women out of their money, without receiving the product.
I am going to stick with Victoria Principal’s confirmed Reclaim line, and her company has wonderful customer service.

    • Clueless Mama says:

I have never heard of the Reclaim products. I am loving all the feedback on new products. I will Google it now. Thanks

    • Jeanne Elsesser says:

dont cancel wen i have been using few years and my hair is beautiful. first thing everyone says . your hair beautiful, thick shiney no chemicals. i get when has sales or specials on QVC. Take a coouple times getting use no suds but tell you all you need in the cleanser conditioner. you dont need the other products. I use three skin care lines. switch. use this and that I also sometimes have burning with cleanser. I just switch allot. I just had nmajor surgery really major and the icu nurses just said wow your skin and hair are gorgeous. Rest me falling apart. I am always open to new products since I do believe the skin tires of one brand. I found switching allot mixing really keeps my skin fresh. So the other prduct there talking about please let me know to . email me at jeanneelsesser@aol.com. Keep in mind this is an email not used much so give me few days, Im in sw florida.

  10. Okay, I just received my Meaningful Beauty kit, on Saturday, 2 days ago, and have been using it. So far, and amazingly, my skin feels “tighter”, I do love the Glowing Serum, that seems to give my skin a natural glow and youthful appearance, and in just two day…wow.
I don’t like the “liquidy” facial cleanser, it seems to be too runny, for my taste….although, it does do the job of cleansing my face. I just like a thicker, creamy consistency of my facial cleansers, there is less waste with a thicker cleanser. So far, in just two days, I have seen the laugh lines, around my mouth, “plump” up. So we’ll see how well the system works, overall, in the next month. I am comparing the results of Meaningful Beauty against Victoria Principal’s “Reclaim” line, which is a wonderfully effective skin care line, that I have been using for 5 months. Reclaim truly worked wonders on my skin, it took 10 years of me….and I am 53!! I guess I’ll “feel” younger when I start looking 23?? lol.

    • I’ve been reading the reviews for Meaningful Beauty, and wanted to see how it was working for you now. How does it compare tio Reclaim? I am also 53 and looking for something that really works.

    • Hi, just wondering if you had time to post an update on Meaningful Beauty now that more time has passed in your usage? I guess that is if you are still using it or finished the kit?
      Thank you,
      Wendy

      • Clueless Mama says:

Hi Wendy, Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope some of the comments helped you. Hopefully Diane will let you know what her results were. Good Luck!

  11. I just received/started using the Meaningful Beauty line this week. My starter kit included all the products mentioned above. I gotta say, I’m seriously underwhelmed.
The cleanser is OK, no burning sensation here. The Creme De Serum, Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules, and Glowing Serum – not seeing immediate results but it has only been a week, so I’ll give them a chance. The Lifting Eye Cream, I do like how it absorbs quickly! I just don’t notice too much actual LIFTING… My usual StriVectin is WAY superior!
Unfortunately, the products I can’t stand are the day cream and the neck cream. Overwhelming scent of sunscreen, plus I feel like they sit on top of my skin instead of absorbing in. I’m shiny and sticky afterward. Even after standing under a vent for a few minutes, lol… I’m going to send them back. I hate to do it, and maybe the problem is my early thirties, combination skin- Like The line is prob geared more towards mature/dry. My final verdict though, is that it’s just a simple, easy, paint by numbers package. If you don’t know too much about skin care or don’t care to do the research, this line might work for you. I, however, am going back to my old mix of prestige products from Sephora.

    • Clueless Mama says:

Eve, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your opinions on the product. I think you are doing the right thing in sending them back. If you aren’t happy with them, you should go back to what you know works. What type of Prestige products do you use?

      • Well, morning & night are different.
AM: CeraVe Gentle Cleanser – Caudalie Toning Lotion – Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Treatment – Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 15
PM: CeraVe Foaming Cleanser – Caudalie Toner – Sonya Dakar Seaweed Liposome Gel – Origins (Andrew Weil) Night Moisture
Most Importantly, in the evening I use my Clarisonic MIA2 – Which Doesn’t work with the MB cleanser. Also, I vary use of Origins Clear Improvement mask & Philosophy Micro Delivery Peel.

        • Forgot the most important! StriVectin eye cream! Been using it for over a year, just saw it’s been voted as one of Allure Magazine’s Best Of Beauty for 2012. Super amazing stuff :)
Now. I AM slightly torn about trying the Meaningful Beauty mask & peel. If I do, I’ll come back & share my results. Also, the Brightening Neck Cream, while I still hate it! Lol. Seems to really do amazing things for my neck & decollete. Instead of convincing me to keep the kit though, it’s just convinced me I need neck cream! Gonna try LUSH or maybe Perricone.

          • Perricone works and smells great!

          • FYI: Bare Escentuals has a neck cream that works really well. I’ve loved every product I’ve tried of theirs. Warning, though, collecting colors can become addictive! :)
Thanks to everyone for all the reviews of Meaningful Beauty. I had wanted to try it, but I think I’ll just stick to what I’m using. I would suggest buying a Clairsonic product. The ‘mia’ isn’t TOO badly priced, and it’s worth it. My skin looks SO much better after using it. Just a thought.

      • I noticed this too! It’s a LOT of toxins to be applying to the body on a daily basis. I’m surprised anyone’s skin could improve with such an extensive list of chemicals and preservatives. A friend just gave me basically the whole product line last night, but I’m afraid to use that amount of chemicals since I have used 100% natural for so many years!

      • maddie's mama says:

Thank you for listing the ingredients. Some of the products have soybeen oil which can have a sudo-estrogenic effect. If you are sensitive to hormonal changes, difficulty with getting pregnant, ovary disorders or a Cancer Survivor, I would very cautious in using these products.

        • Kathleen Lochner says:

Thank you! I am a cancer survivor; almost 4 years now. I can’t have anything with hormones & I wish I could remember the right word for that. The chemotherapy really did a number on my face. I developed these little white bumps, (kind of like harder white heads), that are steadily developing into patches of these. I really want to find something to get rid of it. But, sorry, got off track. Thank you for the cancer warning.
          Thanks,
          Kathleen

      • Wow, no wonder my skin reacted badly to Meaningful Beauty. I tried it twice..about 10 years ago when I was 33 and I just tried again last week. I was thinking maybe my skin has changed over the years and this time would be different. Both times my skin became even more dry then it already is, so dry you could see the flakiness!! After reading the ingredient list I’m amazed it worked for anyone.
I am looking for a reasonably priced routine.. I have dry skin, my T zone and chin are red and I can’t use makeup to cover anything because then you can see the dryness even more. There are even times that my undereye is so dry that I can’t use concealer arghhh!!! I am so sick of spending money on useless products. I changed my diet and added more water but nothing seems to be working!! Any advice!!!! I need a really good moisturizer that either gets rid of the redness or hydrates my skin so well that i can actually wear foundation or BB creams. HELP!!!

        • How could you have tried it ten years ago? It hasn’t been out for that long.

          • This is a fantastic web page, could you be interested in doing an interview concerning just how you
designed it? If that’s the case e-mail me!

        • Did you see my post about Nerium? It just launched about two years ago and people are having such great results that in the first full year of business they sold over $100 million of product. In the first quarter of the second year they were already at $250 million so on track to do $1 billion for their second year. It’s doing so well because it works! They even have the independent scientific studies to show it. I’m a skeptic (and a very busy person) and even I signed up as a brand partner because I loved my real results. Check it out at http://www.amplify.nerium.com! They have a Free day cream for life promotion right now only through the end of December.

          • I used Nerium for 3 months at the auto ship price of $98.00 and saw absolutely no CHANGE and after reading reviews from others who felt the same. Just received MB and after a week have been pleased with it. Takes little time to apply there suggested regiment. Will let you know more after a month.

  12. I have been using Meaning Beauty (MB) for approximately eight weeks. The kit that I received does come with the night cream and gifts (cleansing mask, glowing serum and wrinkle smoothing capsules). I wanted to keep my regiment as simple as possible and if I liked it incorporate the other items. I have only been using the day cream, the night cream, the firming chest/neck cream, mask and lifting eye cream. I cannot say I have seen a difference in wrinkles as I do not have any but do have large pores. I love the way my skin looks! My pores have diminished and I have received so many compliments on my skin! Unfortunately, I just stopped using MB because it made me break out. I was getting 1-3 huge red painful pimples constantly. I have never had an issue with acne not even as a teeneager and am in my late 40s. Since I stopped using MB less than a week ago my pimple issues have disappeared.

    • I’ve been using MB for a littlt over a month now..I broke out a little around my chin area at first, however I decided to stick with it as my skin usually takes a little while to adjust. My skin is definitely improving as I took a before picture the day my kit arrived. My face was dull and lifeless, very uneven and also large pores. So after a month the appearance of my pores are diminising, my skin tone is evening out and there is a nice fresh look to my skin. I do have wrinkles at 34 yo but MB hasn’t done much for my lip lines however I really can’t expect it to as I am a smoker….. My other lines are fading though and my skin feels so nice! I do add baking soda to the cleanser to thicken it up and for the extra cleansing. I have called in to customer service to add a few things to my regular order and I was pleased with the rep. she was very helpful, friendly and she fully explained how the payments work. If you go to the website you are able to sign in and review your account in full detail. You can see what your getting, how much it’ll cost, when you’ll be charged and you can personalize your order to get the products you want. I honestly have had a wonderful experience with MB so far. Hopefully after a few more months I’ll be wrinkle free :)

  13. I ordered these products a week ago and they arrived as promised. They seem to be fine, but nothing I would buy again. EXCEPT that, through dishonest sales, (and if I didn’t read the VERY fine print hidden deep within my order’s invoice) they signed me up to buy their products every 30 days! Without my permission. This is fraud.
If the product is as good as the company claims, why do they need to deceive people into buying it?

    • JennyB,

Almost all of the Beauty Product, you order from these Infomercials, automatically sign you up to buy their Product, on a monthly basis…That includes things like Wen, Pro-Active, Meaningful Beauty, Reclaim and any other Product like these. It’s unfortunate that a lot of People don’t know about this and are shocked when they receive another Kit, that they didn’t order or are charged for a Kit, after they’ve canceled the Original Order. And trying to cancel an Order, from what I’ve heard, can be a TOTAL Nightmare!

What I don’t understand is, why do you need to buy any of these Products, on a Monthly basis? I NEVER use any of my Beauty Products in a month! Usually takes me 3 to 4 months to use something up (I put the date, on the Bottle, when I open it) So, why make People buy a Product once-a-month, when the Product, from the month before hasn’t even been used up? I think if they only made you buy their Products every 4 months, or so, it wouldn’t be so bad!

I don’t buy anything, from any of those Infomercials, just because of the fact that once you do, you have to buy it, every month and canceling is a Nightmare! I’ll stick with my Boots No.7 Protect & Profect! Thank ya, very much! :)

      • I’ve been reading with interest all the reviews and it’s great to hear about the other products to research (I’m interested in MB after watching the infomercial). I have to say though, in all fairness (whilst it is a pain to automatically go on the monthly deal) the advertisers do state you’ll automatically receive regular top ups out at the end of their ads. Also, in the past I’ve called up to change the regularity for the same reasons (i.e, have it sent every 2 months instead or even suspend my order and call them when I need more product). I guess if you don’t ask, they won’t tell you as they are in the business of marketing and selling as much product as they can! I’m still trying to decide whether to try the MB or one of the other product lines mentioned in this thread though…..

    • Thank you for the share.I hope you will share again.

  14. I purchase Introductory kit, its only been about a week, I have very oily skin and I could not get through end of the day, without my face being oily and pachty. Again its only been a week but I have notice a change to my skin, My face is not oily or patchy, I do not have to touch up my makeup like before, I ‘ve notice my skin looks smoother to the touch. The products is not oily and easy to use. I am not one of those people who buy products because a star indose it, I like the cleaner, the day cream, and the night cream, not so sure on the glowing serum, still not understanding what that is suppose to do, But I will use the rest of my sample and see happen when I run out.

  15. The product is okay, but their sales practices aren’t. They doubled my order by mistake, so I had to call and cancel the duplicate one. Then they send you free gifts and automatically sign you up for more, unless you read the fine print and call to cancel ($98 for 3-month supply of VITAMINS!). I returned them and cancelled all my orders with them. Then a week later, I got another set of vitamins from my cancelled duplicate ones! So I call again. They’ve charged my credit card for both vitamin orders, I’ve returned the product, and I’m still waiting for them to credit my account. I’ve seen lots of others wiht the similar complaints. It’s not worth it! Buy something else.

  16. These creams and care line is sadly not working!!! I have been using it for 3 month now-nothing. It is funny, I used and tried many products. But nothing does better than simply- nivea cream, one and only. I have use the line, not working. But the only cream- always get compliments, how young I look. i use it morning only, right after the shower and vasilin for under eye- night. People are shocked ,when hear my true age. Truly, Meaningful beauty-means nothing. Waste of money and time.

  17. RE:AUTOMATIC SHIPMENTS (& BILLING) This product, as well as Wen Hair Care and I’m sure many others, does have a statement flash across the screen during the commercial that says something such as, “Automatic seasonal shipments made for your convenience,” so that’s how they get away with the continued shipping. I still think it is a fraud of sorts, however, because I didn’t know that the seasons change every month! I immediately cancelled my Wen order thanks to this. There is a hair straightener offered on TV, too, that has an amazing low price for two straighteners, but they call it an “introductory offer,” meaning that you only pay $30 or whatever it is to try the product for a month, and then you will continue to be billed until you’ve paid about $200. It’s been a while since I looked into that one, so my figures may be off a bit, but certainly the point is made that we are fortunate to now have the internet to easily get feedback from other customers! Beware that sometimes the products themselves will set up apparent customer review sites, too, though –and, naturally, the comments are great!!
RE: VICTORIA SECRET PRODUCTS Does anyone know if she offers a good neck/decollete cream, too? Are her products available anywhere else to avoid the automatic shipment feature?
RE: MIRACLE SKIN TRANSFORMER This is a foundation/serum/magical lotion that I just saw advertised yesterday; it is supposed to get rid of dark circles under eyes and even out all skin tones as if airbrushed. I did read in the fine print under some of the photos, though, that a different eye cream had been used for the dark circles, too. It’s made by Amanda McNamara, I think. Has anyone any experience with it? I’m pretty sure it said it did “Seasonal shipments,” too.

    Thanks in advance!

  18. I have been using MB for about a month now, but that came to a grinding hault last week after my skin texture started changing! I have developed blotchy skin and it feels burnt and dried out!
I have contacted the company to inquire about a refund but have heard nothing back yet!
I am very displeased with this product and please read reviews about it before you make the investment.

  19. I’d like to try this product but I refuse to deal with any company affiliated with Guethy Renker. I’ve had problems with them in the past- from them overcharging me, to not cancelling a membership I wanted cancelled within the 30 day requirement. There are lots of complaints about Meaningful Beauty which I think is unfortunate, because the rotten customer service is the fault of Guethy Renker.

  20. Hello Ladys,

This product is just AWESOME, I am 29 yo I’ve always had great skin, until 2 years ago(when i got married, i think i let myself go) i started noticing sun damage, dryness my skin pours were alot bigger, just looking myself in the mirror closer was just heart braking for me, make up was not enough… After 1 year of watching the infomercials of this product I decided to get it, i started with the 30 day supply(you can get it at sephora :) inside jcp) just to see if this product really worked… guess what.. it DID!!.. I been using it for 5 days now, every morning is like christmas when I look at my skin!… please please, give yourself a chance to get your skin back, just like I did, you will not regret it… sorry about my english is not my first language, I just need it to share this with you….. Have a great day and God bless you

  21. I saw the infomercial this morning and it honestly piqued my curiosity…however, after coming to this site (thank you for your review, I, too, live in Colorado!) and reading other reviews, I think I will stick to my Oil Cleansing Method. My skin is not 100% perfect on it, but it’s overwhelmingly better than it was when I used cleansers on my face. If melon is the secret ingredient in this line of products, why not get organic melon (Honeydew, Cantaloupe–pick one), scoop some out and blend, blend, blend and use it as a mask on your face? Our bodies, our faces, were not made to absorb chemicals… we should be using natural (and hopefully organic) products that come from the ground–if anything–on our skin. My mother is going to be 60 in January and she looks like she’s 45 (and no, we do NOT have good skin care genes). She has only been using water and coconut oil on her face for years and I’m honestly jealous! Anyways, thanks for this blog, I intend to be a regular attendee to this blog! :-)

    • Clueless Mama says:

Laura, thank you so much for the compliment. I had no idea you could use coconut oil on your face. That would be great if it could work for me. If you don’t mind me asking, what is your Oil Cleansing method? I am always open to suggestions. Hope to talk to you soon.

    • Kathleen Lochner says:

I was just getting ready to order Cindy Crawfords beauty products, but after reading this blog, I’m pretty nervous to proceed. I’m not a chemist, so not sure what to look for in ingredients in beauty/cleaning/upkeep products. Laura, I’m curious about the coconut oil that your mother uses each night. Where do you get it and what do you do with it? It’s great to have your mom be an example of a way to take care of your face more naturally. Thanks for any info you can share!
      Thanks,
      Kathleen

      • Clueless Mama says:

Kathleen, I have begun to use coconut oil on my face since reading her comment. I love the way it leaves my face feeling in the morning. You can buy it at any health food store or even the grocery store. Just make sure to purchase the virgin coconut oil. Hope you like it.

  22. Thanks Angie for posting the ingredients. Lots of bad stuff in there. I frankly am tired of being the commercial industry’s (food, beauty, cleaning supplies, etc…) lab rat for their science experiments. Look at all the things they slip past us with pretty packaging, cheap pricing and a beautiful spokesperson?

Check your products at ewg.org/skindeep/ first. They tell you what each listed ingredient’s effect can have on your body. Consider eliminating chemicals from your daily life, starting with food. Yes, true beauty comes from within. Drink lots of water, and cut the sugary drinks. I switched to an organic diet and my skin improved immensely. At 41, I could never recall a day back to my teens when I didn’t have a blemish, if not many on my face. My skin cleared up completely. I found myself needing less foundation. And just another added perk: I dropped 35 pounds. As someone who’s always struggled with weight, even though I ate pretty healthy and exercised regularly, this weight-loss really clinched it for me that all these chemicals we consume really do have dire effects on our bodies. It’s been over a year, my skin still looks great, more youthful even without all the pimples; I kept the weight off, still do the same ex routine and eat the same as I always have… I just only eat organic. Rodale.com (Prevention magazine) is another great site chock full of healthy living info. Cheers! Kim

  23. I just fell for the slick infomercial and ordered the Meaningful Beauty intro package.

Now I’m scared. Not so much for the product because I really want to try it, it was a decent price, anything ‘age-defying’ is upwards of $30 on the drugstore shelf anyways.

For me its the question of billing. After checking all the review sites it seems that is how they really make their money-over billing and not cancelling their ‘payment plan’ even after customers call multiple times to cancel. I will have to wait and see how this plays out I guess.

    Thanks for the honest review.

Please let us know how the billing went, if you will! Always good to hear from actual customers and people who’ve tried products. I don’t trust at all the women in the infomercials or advertisements. I feel like they get paid to say wonderful things. I want honest answers and it seems that this review and its comments have that! Love reading them all! I am taking in a lot of information. I want to start treating my skin now (I’m 21) so that 30 years later I just might look better than Cindy! :P

    • In the same boat… Now I am nervous. Let’s hope we have better luck!

  24. I LOVE your reviews & all of the amazing feedback from some amazing women! I saw the Meaningful Beauty infomercial this evening, but having been burned by a skincare regimen purchased through an infomercial in the past, decided to do some research. That is what landed me here & I just have to say “KUDOS!” Not only to you, Clueless Mama, but to every one of the women who commented by sharing their skin type & various reviews, experiences & other product recommendations! Women desperately need a place we can go to research something before being suckered (or romanced if you like that better) into these gimicks – whether it be skincare or the latest fad diet, and I will definitely be tuning back in, both to read, and to comment so maybe I can contribute to other women too. As far as MB – NO WAY! After reading here & summing it all up, my opinion is that Kim has the right perspective – all natural, organic and healthy, from what we put in our body as well as ON it. For a great, natural & all organic line of beauty products, I recommend Lush, Aubrey Organics (I use mostly their hair care) & The Body Shop (the Banana Hair Conditioner is my fav!) Thanks again ladies!

  25. I ordered the 30 day when I was on holidays in the USA and couldn’t wait to try the products myself. I am 44 years old, and always looking for a great product to look after my skin and to make me feel great about how I look and feel about myself. Meaningful Beauty did that and it is the best product i have ever used and my friends also noticed a huge difference in my skin and how wonderful i lookede. The only down fall to purchasing it in Sydney Australia is it is more expensive. I really wish you could purchase it in larger quantities and say in a department store….

  26. Lynn Moles says:

Thank you for your opinion and everyones reviews, after reading them I think I will just stick with my all natural coconut oil……..my skin feels and looks amazing on it anyway, so why change if something is working right!

  27. I too now only eat organic, makes a huge difference, in my skin, and my health, and my teenage daughters as well. Cutting out the sugar is NUMBER ONE!! SUGAR CAUSES PREMATURE AGING!

  28. DO NOT GIVE THIS PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!!..charged my account for 79.00 dollars for pills only two weeks after the first “free offer”, called several times to ask for my money to be refunded into my account, talked to several different “supervisors” by the way they give you names and ID numbers for nothing because you can’t never find them again, since they are everywhere in the states, never had a straight answer, they don’t know what they are doing, they said I was going to be contacted by the “billing department” since they have no direct number, never happened!..had to call back again and again, waited a couple of months and finally got “some” of the money back, got tired of dealing with you people, cancelled the order, want nothing to do with you, by far the worst experience and the most wasted time of my life…sooo not worth it..

  29. I am so glad I decided to look into Meaningful Beauty before ordering. All the comments have me thinking twice. I want to try something that want break the pocketbook. I am getting ready to turn 51. I use Mary Kays 3-in-cleanser and age-fighting moisturizer and I like those just fine but need more. I want something to help with those ugly age spots and some wrinkles around eyes and mouth. I have noticed if the light is shining just right the lines under chin and neck. Yuck! I would love some advice.

    • Hi Shelia,

I was wondering if you had tried the Mary Kay Timewise Repair line? I realize this comment is a year old and I do hope you found something that works for you. My recommendation, as a Mary Kay consultant, would be to use the Timewise Repair line. I can service you if you would like. Feel free to connect with me at marykay dot com / rleap.

  30. Good or bad health is determined by the actions of people, and these actions also affect the skin. Whichever way we do with our skin, either on natural or synthetic things we patronize. The best way to look good is to gamble yourself with natural products. If you want to know more about skin care, visit here

  31. Meaningful Beauty products are Full of sulphates, sulphates are commonly used in cosmetic cleansers, hair shampoos, bath and shower gels, bubble baths, etc. – It is probably the most dangerous ingredient used in skin and hair-care products. In the cleaning industry SLS is used in garage floor cleaners, engine degreasers, car-wash soaps, etc. It is very corrosive and readily attacks greasy surfaces.

Sodium lauryl sulfate is used throughout the world for clinical testing as a primary skin irritant. Laboratories use it to irritate skin on test animals and humans so that they may then test healing agents to see how effective they are on the irritated skin.

A study at the University of Georgia Medical College, indicated that SLS penetrated into the eyes as well as brain, heart, liver, etc., and showed long-term retention in the tissues. The study also indicated that SLS penetrated young children’s eyes and prevented them from developing properly and caused cataracts to develop In adults.

May cause hair loss by attacking the follicle. Classified as a drug in bubble baths because it eats away skin protection and causes rashes and infection to occur.

Is potentially harmful to skin and hair. Cleans by corrosion. Dries skin by stripping the protective lipids from the surface so it can’t effectively regulate moisture.
….When I initially ordered Meaningful Beauty, I asked if it had sulphates, I was told no. On receiving the order this is what the cleanser contains: Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Sodium Lareth B Sulfate, Magnesium Laureth d-Sulfate, Sodium Oleth Sulfate, Magnesium Oleth Sulfate…lets just add fertilizer to the mix! No mention of that natural exotic melon extract that the French Doctor mentioned in the TV ad.. Sulphates are in most store brands, however, there are many products out now without them. I would do your research, as it’s important what goes on our skin and bodies. I would be surprised if Cindy actually uses this on her own skin. It’s buyer beware, and don’t forget Guenthy is a million dollar company out to push product, along with so many others.
I have chosen to cancel furthur orders, and choose find a skin care line without the use of sulfates and surfactants.

  32. After reading all these reviews I’m worried. As I just ordered the 30 day, 5 pc kit today. I wish I would have found this site before I ordered! I surfed a couple sites before ordering and “they” we’re positive. Obviously my main concern is the billing issues that have been mentioned here. Don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep until I can receive my order so I can cancel future shipments. As the rep. Told me my 30 days would begin the day I receive my order.
I certainly hope I have some positive results as some ladies have mentioned .. ESP if I loose sleep over worrying about being ripped off with the whole re billing issues! I mean seriously folks why would companies try and sell you their product only to mislead you with false billing schemes? I really hope it’s not a nightmare?
I’ll be sure to post once this nightmare ends, even thought its just beginning?

    • Clueless Mama says:

Melissa, I am so sorry you are worried now. I definitely wouldn’t stress over canceling. I am sure it will all be okay. I have ordered from the company before and was able to cancel without an issue. Just be sure to do it right away. If you like the products, you can find them at places like eBay too. You wouldn’t have to worry about recurring shipments then. I hope all goes well for you. Thanks for the comment.

      • Thx u Clueless Mama.. But I just cancelled my cc so I won’t have to worry. Good luck to everyone else. Seems like the BBB would seriously look into this scam? What a crock!

        • chelsea says:

I cancelled my bank card once for this reason and they got the funds from my new account… somehow they justified it because I approved it prior??? I did not give them my routing number or account, just the card which I cancelled.

  33. I was going to order until I found this page and read the reports on customer service. Without even looking, I knew this had to be Guthy-Renker. Three years ago, I cancelled a Proactiv auto-fulfillment. They kept sending and billing. Finally stopped sending, but billed one more time with no product. I didn’t pay. Three years later and I’m still receiving threatening letters (legal threats for 19.95???). No way will I do business with this immoral company.

  34. Becky Swaim says:

I’m trying to find as many places as possible to post a warning to NOT order these products. First of all, they’re not that great. Secondly, and most importantly, this company is a SCAM. After my initial shipment, I called and cancelled my account. They have continued to bill my credit card for 4 months and I’ve not received any further products. I have called their customer service and it’s always the same thing. “Oh, we’re so sorry” and “We’ll fix this for you”. The last CSR told me that she’s sending me an affidavit to fill out so I can get a refund of for the $126 worth of charges for which I have received nothing! DO NOT ORDER ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a complete scam!!!!

    • My advice to anyone who wants to try anything, is to purchase a prepaid visa debit card and use that for the order, then if you dont like it they can not keep charging a card with no money on it.

  35. The Crème de serum is the night time cream, it’s not for daytime, try it out in the nighttime

  36. Well, after reading this wonderful and unbiased review…and all of the comments, I’m now more confused than ever and have no idea whIch product to purchase! It all seems so expensive, and I don’t want to buy something that won’t work well, naturally.

At 54, I realize I should use some sort of skin care…I’m getting wrinkles, my skin is lackluster and gray, and sagging terribly (lots of stress these past few years), and I’m getting old-age spots. I don’t wear foundation…I can’t stand the feeling of it on my skin, and I’d rather have my skin glowing because it’s healthy, not covered with foundation.

Is there anyone out there who’s around my age, with similar issues, who can recommend a product that’s worked well for them? Please bring it – I’d love to hear some recommendations!

    • Katrina, if you have wrinkles, sagging skin and discoloration, the product Nerium AD is scientifically proven to address these issues. If you are interested in more information I would be happy to send you some videos on the product and it’s efficacy. It’s been a godsend to me and I love it. The average results are a 30% improvement in fine lines, the best in the anti aging business! But don’t just take my word for it…contact me at http://www.teambauman2@gmail.com

      • Jackie Conley says:

I went to the Nerium AD site. Omg…it may be a great product but I cant get past the marketing join up thing like Amway or something so no way will I ever try it. Anything that good would be all over the place on its own without having such a push to sign up partners to sell it..at least in my opinion.

  37. I’m surprised to see no one has mentioned Shiseido. It is definitely on the expensive side, but of all the products I’ve tried (which are a lot) this is the one I have stuck with and will never go back. I am in my early 30′s and regularly get compliments on my skin and facial appearance. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who will listen, and only one person so far hasn’t liked it (personally I don’t think she used it long enough, less than a week). I used to have really bad acne, and I almost never get zits now. But for spot treatment when I do, I use elf Cosmetics Zit Zapper stick. It’s literally $1 and is a MIRACLE. To decide which of Shiseido’s lines is right for you, you probably want to just talk to the salesperson at the department store. The one thing I will say is that they will recommend a three step program, cleanser, softener and moisturizer and you definitely want to use all three. They have little trial size ones you can use to decide if you like it. I totally sound like a salesperson here, but seriously, this stuff WORKS!!

  38. I have been using my skin regimen for 3 years and wouldn’t change a thing. It is called Dermalogica. Some people may look at the prices and say they are a little high but, believe me I have tried them all. Not only is this the best product out there. It was made by dermatologists and is recommended by dermatologists and esthniticans It does not take much of the product at all. Seriously a lot goes a long way and they have every product for your skin type you could think of. Try it and I know you will be impressed

  39. I’m 47 and haven’t felt the need to use any age-defying products up until the last few years. I started using Nerium AD after lots of research and have been very impressed with the results. So impressed that I became a brand partner to be able to share this product with everyone I know. If you are interested in learning more please feel free to contact me. I’d love for you to experience it too. Oh, and if you are serious about trying it I can send you a free 5-day sample!

  40. I just saw the infomercial and they do make their product sound unbelievable!Thank you for the reviews….. I have being using Arbonne for 7 years now and will stay with it. Sometimes you think you want a change but the reviews made me realize that if Arbonne is working why change!

  41. My biggest problem is my pores are HUGE! I can’t find the right product to minimize them. I’ve also started growing baby fine facial hair, which looks HORRIBLE with makeup! I’m glad I found this page because I see there are some very insightful ladies here and maybe can help me with this problem. I also would like to throw in a review (WARNING is more like it). Because I feel ugly with this hair all over my face, I’ve considered straight up shaving but, I know that would only make my problem worse! I did have one of those battery operated shaver thingys they advertise to clean mens ears and nose and it worked great until the battery died then, no matter what brand battery I put in it, it never worked again! What a waste! So, I decided to try hair removal creams. It only took one of these creams and now, my face feels reptilian, completely dry (when I was regularly oily) and I have even MORE hair on my face!. This product I’m talking about is Sally Jensen facial cream. After I put it on, it was fine then, it started to tingle, then it started to burn! I couldn’t get that off my face fast enough! My face felt like I had taken straight razors to my it!!! I couldn’t believe this product! I might as well have used the product they make for legs because it had to have been as strong! 2 months later, I no longer have oily skin but, there’s no moisture in my face at all, I’ve been using moisturizers to try and bring some moisture back because I feel like I have a 5 o’clock shadow! Yeah, and the hair came back. I could rave on about this product for another 20 mins but, really, what I’m looking for is a way to minimize my pores as well as try to put moisture back in my face.
Thanks Ladies, Merry Meet, Blessed Be

Have you tried Rodan + Fields? Feel fee to email me at countsmel22@gmail.com if you would like some information.

    • chelsea says:

Wax you upper lip.. its the only way. I use sally henson strips… you just rub ut to warm it up.. you have to do it right though, and only once. Do not repeat or it will break your skin. Waxing inhibits regrowth…pluck any stragglers. There are procedures to remove facial hair, but if u cant afford it the face strips used for blackheads will also pull small hairs off. Dont shave for Gods sake.

  42. I watched the Meaningful Beauty ad on TV, I am pretty sure they said that Creme de Serum
    is the night cream.

    • Hi Bella, on the product it says that it can be used during the day or night. I tried it as both, but I was not a fan regardless of the time of day. I sure wish it would have worked for me.

  43. Hi Ladies,

Most of these products I’m sure contain Parabens, colors and other arfificial ingredients. I use SIBU, and ANDALOU NATURALS. These products are 100% free of artifical ingredients. They contain Seabuckthorn oil/puree and fruit stem cells.
I use the SIBU bar, and the day cream. AWESOMENESS! I also use the cream cleanser and firm and lift cream from ANDALOU NATURALS! Man, these products are great!
I’m 39, and I’ve been using them for over 2 years now…people think I’m in my late 20′s! Forget the hype and try something fresh and natural! Check out their lines!! I would be their spokes person any day! :)

  44. don’t buy this kmart quality product, your skin worth more then that!
filled with carcinogenic parabens, chemicals and alcohol! after first application i got headaches from smeling alcohol on my skin and burning sensation. i called 3 times to
customer service and they still ship me another package of products and charge my credit card i spend entire day to deal with it. how much your time of day worth? plus my skin rosea worsened.i dont believe that multimillon doll put this garbage on her skin unless she is
mindless, actually is shame on her.what is she thinking?if we dont have her kind of money
she could talk us in to chemical creams that worth nothing?

  45. The creme de serum is the NIGHT CREAM. I just thought I would clear up any confusion. The “infomercial” was just on this morning.

Even with all of the negative reviews, it has to to be working… Right? Do you really thing all of these celebrities are corrupt to go on TV and misrepresent a product that actually DOESN’T work,or is it just that they have more money than us “regular folk” do? I think I’m gonna hold off on ordering it for now, I just wanted to share the new info if anyone was interested :)

  46. Angelique says:

I’ve been using MB for one week. The neck cream has delivered great results. I am 41 years old and feel as if my neck and chest show my age from sun damage. After a week my chest is smooth and I can’t believe my eyes. I am fair and have sensitive skin. My face is transitioning and has some flaking, but no burning. The cleanser removes my masacara with no irritation. I look forward to seeing the results after 4 weeks. Customer Service was very informative about future shipments and it can broken down into monthly payments. You do not have to accept the offer of future shipments. As with any product results will vary. I was using Clairns product sine my 20′s. Which are very costly.

    • Great Karma says:

I have always had great service from the company. They will work with you to adjust your shipments or cancel without issues. I will continue to use their services fir Wen and Meaningful Beauty.

  47. The other reviews are correct. They automatically sign you up for refills and charge you for it. I called 4 times to cancel and still they sent me stuff. Then I got two shipments AFTER they said I was cancelled. I mailed them back as they said to do. I had the post office tape them together good. They refunded me for one (minus shipping you have to submit that and wait a month for it to get to you) but somehow they are saying they never received the other package. THEY WERE TAPED TOGETHER. The whole process of arguing with them and how long it took to cancel put me past my 60 days where they will refund and what not. Now they’re saying there’s nothing they can do. I have never experienced worst customer service in my life. The product is not near good enough to deal with that crap.

  48. I am 60 years old. Until about 3 weeks ago, I had never heard of Meaningful Beauty. An infomercial happened to be on TV as I walked through the room so I watched a few minutes of it. I took down the number and called immediately. I received a 5 piece kit plus 2 (each with 2 products) free gifts. Within a week, I had received all the products and was using them. I have been pleasantly surprised with the results. One of my daughters commented that my skin was “glowing”. My pores have closed and my skin is amazingly smooth. I did call about a week after receiving my order to complain about their billing tactics. That part is very misleading–or maybe totally hidden. My complaint concerned one of the free products which on the commercial appeared to be a full sized jar (60 count) of Wrinkle Smoothing capsules. The tiny jar I received had 8. Upon complaining, they offered me a full sized jar FREE. I received that in less than a week. I think it’s the product I like the most, although I do really like the Creme de Serum and the Glowing Serum, too! So far, I am VERY pleased with these products. Everybody’s skin is different. This seems to be working for me.

  49. I will surely try the products.

  50. Ann Savina says:

I tried this product the face wash would not take off my make up. I never had acne as soon as I started using the product I broke out badly. The night time cream made my face breakout in red spots. I called to return the product that may I remind you “You have to pay for” they shipped out a new shipment and doubled charged my account! The product and company are just horrible. I have used may products over the years and this was the worst product ever. DONT USE!

  51. I absolutely swear by Roc products. I am 41 and have been using them for about 5 years. Completely worth it, but if $30 is too high for you, Walmart actually hasa similar line for less.

I’m also fortunate to have a biochemist as a best friend. He agrees with my Rock decision based on its ingredients. Plus he just came out with a simulated rattlesnake venom that acts like liquid botox. If you can find something similar, use it. (His isn’t for wide sale.)

Good luck, ladies. Remember that just being a good woman is enough to make you glow.

  52. you ladies are killing me… as a 53yr old who is really getting tired of all my wrinkels on my forehead and eyes, i am reading thru all this and more confused than ever, some how i think if i am not careful i may end up like Mel Gibson in the movie what women want when he trys waxing his legs, could you give me a simple solution for one safe product that will tighten some of this mess up, not exactly what we guys talk about after a round of golf.

  53. I have been using the Wen haircare products a bout a mouth and I love it my hair is beautiful. I have been using Olay since I was about 35 and I am 50 now and have thought about having bleproplasty because my eyelids droop so bad and i don’t want to cover it up with cream i want to fix it but I have very sensitive skin.So does your product guarantee it will fix my eyelids and won’t break me out.
Hope to hear from you soon.indy1angel@gmail.com

  54. Angela Warren says:

I just happened to try this the other day because my mother in law had bought it. Let me preface and say my mother in law is drop dead gorgeous…always up on her skin care and drinking water therefore everyone wants to know her secret of looking young….so if you see someone who looks great you wanna follow what they follow right? I mean come on Cindy Crawford looks amazing…and who wouldn’t want to put lotions on their face from an extinct or exotic melon found in the South of France…which was most likely picked from handpicked Virgins in the morning dew.

I used all the products (Cleanser, cream, eye serum, glowing lotion etc etc…) I loved it…my skin felt amazing. I have very dry and sensitive skin and I had no breakouts whatsoever. I’m looking forward to ordering EVERYTHING.

  55. Hi I am 30 and I don’t know which product is good for my skin .can any one give me some suggestion.

  58. Greetings from Carolina! I’m bored at work so I decided to check out your site on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the info you present here and can’t wait to take a look when I get
home. I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .
    . Anyhow, amazing blog!

  59. I went to visit my brother in law and he had some of the MB products that he had ordered for himself. He reported that the cleanser made his face burn so he would not be using them so he offered them to me. I took them home and didn’t really do anything with them right away. When I ran out of my cleanser I used just the MB cleanser. It tingled a little but did not burn. That got used up. Then at one point later on when I realized I should be using a night cream I took out the jar of MB and decided to give it a try. I was using it every night and found that my skin was looking better the next day. I was using other non-MB products with it. I didn’t really think too much of it until it ran out and I started using a sample of another night cream I had lying around. I am really missing the MB night cream and feel that my skin does not look or feel as good without it. I am 45, not prone to acne and have a few lines and under eye bags starting but not a lot of wrinkles. I just want that smoothness back that I got from it and I think I will try to order just the night cream again. I also have the neck/chest cream but for some reason I never really used it consistently. I think I will start using it since I have it!

  60. Oh I forgot to say that I also really like Clinique Repair Wear Laser Focus and I loved my skin the most when I used the combination of that plus the MB night cream. I actually had a co-worker text me during a staff meeting when we were all sitting around the table to tell me that my skin looked nice when I was using that combo! Those two are my favorite products…especially together….and I always wait until it is bonus time at Clinique to get the Repair Wear laser focus because then you get free gifts!

  61. Praveen says:

I ordered this for my wife and her skin became rough in 4 days. I called and cancelled the order and requested refund. the money was refunded but received two statement came in mail in couple of days with hundreds of dollars asking me to pay. I called the customer service again and questioned as to why I received all the statements when I already cancelled the account and as usual customer service “apologies” for the mistake. Seems like there are lot of gaps between departments of this meaningful beauty. I don’t recommend this to anyone.

  63. I bought MB from a friend who had bought it, didn’t like it, and had great difficulty stopping the automatic withdrawals from her account. She said it was a nightmare. I have used it for two weeks and all of a sudden I woke up an itchy red rash on my neck and chest. Has anyone else experienced this? I have been using the neck and chest cream. I am 55 and now starting to see the signs…This may be a result of new meds or something I ate, so wondering if it has happened to anyone else who used MB. I never have and never will buy products from infomercials but for a few bucks was able to try MB. Nothing to write home about. I think I will go back to old faithful oil of olay and the occasional rub down of coconut oil. I love coconut oil for my skin and whats left over I can cook with! I tried my best to see that my face looked more revived. Sometimes I guess we think if we pay out the ying yang for something it’s bound to work!…Not. Rare melon? lol. And after reading and hearing about the nightmares associated w ordering and recieving supplies, it would seem that C Crawford would be ashamed. But I am sure she laughs all the way to the bank! I hope she gives nicely to charities.

I’m looking for an excellent skin care that contains NO SPF. The chemicals used in SPF are cancer causing. Thanks for the warning on how the company continues to charge your credit card after you’ve cancelled. I would love to try just the night cream to see how it works.

  73. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Ie.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with
browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem resolved
    soon. Many thanks

I have used meaningful beauty and it seems to work well for me.I have horrible baggy redness under my eyes and the eye cream helps alot with it.I really like the way my face feels and glows when I am done.I hope this helps someone out there looking at this product.

  75. On the instructions I received, I was told to use the Crème de Serum at night not during the day. As a night crème is was more effective than used during the day. I was quickly absorbed and actually almost felt like a very light powder after a few minutes. The whole program seem to work somewhat so I am going to give it another 90 days to make sure. I too live in Colorado and need some moisture in my skin. The only problem I am having is in getting the so called automatic shipment.

  76. I have used SKINN products (SHOPHQ) for the past couple of years. I like that they are natural and without chemicals. I have enjoyed the line an awful lot….Collegensis is the top line and my skin is great. I DO find that every few years, I like to try something new – so decided to try this – so ordered the capsules first – I ordered the sample jar – and I loved the velvetty feeling – so I ordered a large jar. I just ordered the Creme de Serum but haven’t used it yet. I’m running low on the SkINN products…..I buy Eye Whip with caffeine through Amazon which I absolutely love and won’t go to anything else… It’s inexpensive and has totally eliminiated puffiness that just wouldn’t go away. SKINN has awesome prices and large very reasonably priced kits……

  77. The kits do now come with the night cream now if you were wondering.

Once again love this product been using for a yr and I really love the firm and the lifting for the eyes works awesome I will not try anything else……

  79. I have always used Oil of Olay and decided to try Meaningful Beauty after seeing it advertised. I received the 30 day shipment and used it as directed for approximately 3 weeks. I had to stop after 3 weeks because my face is totally red and itchy and dry and looks like I have the worst case of acne ever. I called and talked to them and explained not to send me any more shipments and why. I talked to a young man who took all the information as to why I no longer wanted to use their product (and even the lot numbers on their product). They have already charged my account for another shipment (that I have not received). I have had to cancel my bank card to keep them from charging me. I should have stayed with Oil of Olay because it is a great product and I never had any problems with it. I am an older woman so I was just trying to be younger and wrinkle free. I think I will just grow older gracefully and continue to use only Oil of Olay. Hope this post helps others who order Meaningful Beauty. NOT GOOD PRODUCTS

Was researching MB’s reviews and stubbled upon your blog, I enjoyed very much! Very helpful and so glad I did!! I will be 40 this summer and after carefully comparing my next skin care regime (currently using Olay Regenerist & Roc), I have decided to go with Victoria Principal Reclaim. Anyone have any thoughts or experience w/ this product as I ordered it, I am going to be hopeful. Fingers crossed. And again great job with your blog. Loves it !!!! :)

  81. I am 56 years old and have been using MB line for 6 weeks now. I LOVE what it has done for my face! I have always been looking for something that would clear my zits and not dry my skin. Now there is the additional concern of wrinkles. For the first time in my life I am NOT looking for something new or different for me MB is a God send. I was really surprised that it cleared the blackheads and zits as it is not mentioned, in the infomercial, as a side affect. There is an auto-ship attached to this, not only that, you can only get 3 months supply at a time, after the first shipment. Other than that I couldn’t be happier.

  82. Darline Combs says:

I have been using this product for three months, no results really seen. I for one believe it is just a marketing scam. I returned a package, insured, tracking number and everything well over 6 weeks ago and have not received credit for this return. I opened the box, did not open any of products, did not keep the “free” items. I call and am told it takes 6 weeks or longer, I try to explain I have the proof or receipt and mailing and keep getting run around. Then after I have talked to them and they have been advised or the return of the one, two weeks later I get another one am are charged another 56.99. So far that is 113.98 they have of my money with no communication or apology. They did send a one time only return label, whoopee, but still haven’t heard anything on that one. I really doubt that they are that busy. Life Advantage has a superior product and certainly better customer service. Thought I needed to try something else, wrong. Customer service SUCKS.
