What is your favorite item of clothing to wear? Do you feel more comfortable in blue jeans, a skirt, shorts or a pair of comfy sweat pants?
How about the seasons, do they determine what article of clothing you select for the day?
Ever since I was a young girl, I have disliked blue jeans. I have never found them to be comfortable and it is always so hard to find a good fit.
The only time I did find a pair of jeans that fit me well, I kept them for 9 years. I wore them until they were falling apart and then I cut them up into cutoff shorts. (not too short)
Since I lost my dear friend pair of jeans this past year, I have been looking for a new pair of jeans to replace them.
When winter arrives, I have no choice but to wear blue jeans once in a while to stay warm. Therefore, my search for the perfect pair of jeans has been upgraded to urgent status.
I recently tried a pair of Denizen Jeans from Levi. They are exclusively available at Target and come in men, women and kids sizes.
I decided on the Mid Rise Boot Cut because I don’t know about any of you, but I don’t want my butt crack hanging out for the world to see. That is one of my biggest complaints with jeans these days. It is hard to find a pair that sits on my waist instead of on my hips.
The Denizen jeans were a nice fit, however they were a little more straight legged than what I prefer. I like a looser fit through the hips.
I did like the stretch of the material that the Denizen jeans offered. I have tried other blue jeans that were so stiff you could barely sit down comfortably.
It took me a long time to finally find a pair of jeans that I felt attractive in. While the Denizen Jeans from Levi had a lot of great qualities, they didn’t meet all my requirements, therefore my search is still on…..
