What Defines “Fabulous” to You?

Thanks to Trop 50 for sponsoring my writing about fabulous bloggers. This year Trop50 is granting 50 fabulous wishes. Click here to enter for a chance to win $1,000 to help grant a friend’s wish!

The definition of fabulous is:

1. Beyond belief; exceedingly great.

2. Exceptionally good; extremely pleasing or successful.

The problem with that definition is that it is very subjective. Everyone has different ideas of what might make something or someone exceedingly great or extremely successful. For some it may be someone like Oprah, for others it may be the pastor of their church. Both have the ability to be considered “fabulous”, but probably for much different reasons.

It is very much the same in the blogging world. That is why when I was asked to write about five fabulous bloggers, it was much harder than I anticipated. Who can narrow a list down to just five when a dozen or more come to mind right away?

I decided to make my selection by who makes me feel fabulous by offering their friendship, kind words and support on almost a daily basis. After all, who could be more “fabulous” than someone that helps you to be a better you? So here we go:

jessica1. Jessica @ It’s My Life: I have known Jessica for less than a year and in that time she has shown me what a truly amazing person she is. If you take a second to read her latest post, you will see what I mean. She is an inspiration to me as a blogger and as a person. I can’t thank her enough for all the knowledge she has shared with me. I hope to continue our friendship and I look forward to our meeting IRK one day soon.

Nichol2. Nichol @ Kiddies Corner Deals: Nichol has been one of my followers and friends for a long time now. She is one of the most sincere people I have ever met. (online at least, since we haven’t met IRL yet) If I have questions or just need someone to chat with, Nichol is always there. She is so loyal and supportive when it comes to commenting on my site even when I‘m not. Her thoughtful words and online friendship never goes unnoticed. Definitely one of the most fabulous people I know.

Elizabeth3. Blueviolet @ A Nut in a Nutshell: Blueviolet is a gal that I can count on to always make me smile. She has one of the most fun personalities and it definitely shines through on her blog. I love that she takes the time to return comments to anyone who visits her blog. She truly embodies what blogging is all about. If you want a great site with fun content, be sure to add her to your list.

4. Colleen @ Travel Mamas: I had the awesome opportunity to hang with Colleen in Cabo this past year. She is such a sweet person and I felt instantly connected with her. She is just the type person that I could see myself becoming great friends with. I love reading her blog. She has great advice on traveling, so if you are planning a trip be sure to check out her site. Thanks for being fabulous Colleen!

mommypr5. Angela @ Mommy PR: Angela gave me one of my first big breaks by selecting me to be part of the Sears Outlet Mom Team. Since working with her, I have enjoyed getting to know her as well. She is my late night buddy that keeps me company. One of the few gals that is up as late as I am. Thank goodness, as I would be really bored otherwise. Angela is such a great resource for bloggers. She is always ready to share and pass along any great offers she receives. I want to thank her for believing in me! I hope she always will.

So, there you have it. Please know that these ladies are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many of you that I would add to this list if I could. I hope you take the time to visit some of the ones I did name. You won’t be sorry!

Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to support a friend’s wish. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses
