As a woman, there are times that I am very judgmental of my body. I wish that were something I could change, because I want my daughter to grow up feeling beautiful about herself. I have learned so much as a mom about how children watch and learn from us.
Even when I think I may not show my insecurities, I know my children pick up things I don’t even realize. Kiddos are smarter than I sometimes give them credit for. There are even times that I let the way I feel about my body interfere with my relationship with my husband.
It is hard to want to be intimate with the person you love when you are afraid of your flaws. After having two children, things just don’t look the way they did when we first met. I have begun to realize something though, sexy is a state of mind!
Anybody can be sexy regardless of stretch marks, added bulge’s that creep up on us as we age and the wrinkles around our eyes. The changes that take place on the outside do not change who we are on the inside. No matter what changes take place with our outer appearance, we are still the same person on the inside, probably even better.
I am telling you all this, because I was recently sent lingerie from Smart & Sexy. Smart & Sexy sells lingerie of all types that are designed to make the woman inside you remember how sexy you can be. I was given 2 bra and panty sets and a black chemise to review.
It was amazing how differently I felt when I put on the black chemise. Nothing had changed about my body, my hair was still messy and I had no makeup on, but somehow I felt attractive. By me getting out of my sweatshirt and comfy pants, I felt like a different woman.
Smart & Sexy’s website has great pricing and beautiful products. The bra and panty sets I received were not something I would wear everyday because I don’t wear thongs. However, if you do, you have to check out this website. You can get the bra and panty sets for $12 total. Those are some terrific prices. The designs are fun and you can choose from Lightly Lined, Push Up and Extreme Push Up. On the bra I reviewed, I did find the straps to be set a little far apart on my shoulders. Therefore for me, it would be more for wearing to look good for the hubby and not for all day wear. Trust me, when you are wearing these sets, your hubby won’t care where the straps rest on your shoulders.
Their website also offers swimwear, bra and panty separates, bridal wear, sleepwear and gift ideas. The only downside is you may have trouble finding your size in stock. Hopefully they will begin to stock more sizes soon.
I am so glad I am realizing that being attractive is about being comfortable with yourself. So tonight, slip on something pretty and choose to feel good about you! You deserve it.

To feel sexy, I dance. I strip down to my undies or I put on my favorite outfit, then I turn on music that has a really fun beat. Then, I wildly dance around my place, and I do mean wildly. Each time I see myself in the mirror, I say, "Hot!" and smile.
