Coincidence…I Think Not!

Hidden outside of Washington D.C., there are buildings on roads that supposedly do not exist on a map and are more secure than the White House itself. What are their purpose and why do they exist? Many can speculate as to their purpose, but does anyone really know? The answer would be no, unless you are one of the privileged few who dares to know. Of course, with that much knowledge comes great responsibility and risk.

Conspiracy theories are around us daily, whether on a small or large scale. One of the larger theories that I have heard lately has been about global warming. People believe that global warming was conjured up in order for some businesses to make billions of dollars and allow governments to further control our lives with what we drive and what we consume.

The new AMC series, Rubicon, takes an in depth look into conspiracy theories. I wasn’t sure that I would enjoy this topic, but my opinion changed once I saw the pilot episode. It has definitely left me wanting more with all the twists and turns that Rubicon explored. Even the most talented of detectives won’t be able to put their finger on where this show will take you. Have you ever had something happen to you that made you think coincidence or conspiracy theory?

I would love to hear about it.

AMC’s newest original drama series “Rubicon” debuts on Sunday, August 1 with a special two-hour premiere from 8–10pm ET.

No, but I've lived near DC for about 10 years and the roads are really hard to navigate. I get lost every time I go.
