I was recently given the opportunity to attend my first and probably only red carpet event. I was so excited as I prepared to meet one of my favorite actors from the movie School Ties. Yes, an oldie but a goodie! That’s right girls, the awesome Brendan Fraser.
Perhaps you read the giveaway post I recently did on the new movie in theatres, Extraordinary Measures. If not, you still have a couple of days to enter to win. It is an excellent feel good film starring, Harrison Ford, Brendan Fraser and Keri Russell. Extraordinary Measures is inspired by the true story of John Crowley and his family. They have not one, but two children who are fighting for their lives with a deadly disease. John (Brendan Fraser) gives up all he knows to fight for everything he loves.
I personally love a movie that pulls at the heart strings. These are the type of movies that make you feel so blessed for what you have. It also teaches you that sometimes you have to be willing to take risks to reap the ultimate rewards. Be sure if you go to this movie that you bring a tissue or two. I don’t think I was the only one that left the theatre wiping my eyes. Of course, that could be because I was late arriving to the event and missed my ONE chance to meet Brendan Fraser. I had my dance moves from Blast From the Past all ready for him and everything!

That's so cool that you go to meet Brendan Fraser! I like him too. I'm willing to bet that I will never get the oppertunity to go to a red carpet event! LOL

Did you watch My Sisters Keeper? I cried all night over that movie.It was so sad,Talking about a tear jerker movie!
