If you are someone who reads my blog on a regular basis, then you know I have done a review and giveaway with Tropical Traditions before. If you would like to read that first review, you can find it here. If you remember it, then you know it was on the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. I fell in love with it for cooking. Well now, I have found out it is great for your hair too!
I was sent a jar of the Virgin Coconut Oil Hair Treatment. As far as I can tell, there is not much difference from it and the stuff I have been cooking with. As I said in my first review, I had no idea all the ways you can use coconut oil. I have enjoyed this jar for my hair so much. For one, I love the smell of coconut! I have been using it several different ways.
I have applied it a few minutes before I got in the shower. It smells so nice then when I get in and the hot water hits it. I have also used it at night while I sleep. I apply a generous amount to my hair and then put on a shower cap. Let me just say, I am looking good on those nights. LOL The shower cap prevents the product from getting on my pillow. In the morning I rinse it out in the shower and my hair feels so nice and soft. The last way I have used it is after my hair is dry. I apply just the smallest amount to my ends to help keep them hydrated and looking good.
