Perfume is a really hard thing to write a review on. I know from experience that what smells good on one person, may not smell good on another. I can remember stopping someone in a store once and asking them what perfume they were wearing. They smelled so good that I could not wait to go and get myself a bottle. Thank goodness for places like Sephora and Ulta. I was able to test the scent on myself, and let me tell you it did NOT smell anything like it did on that other person.
I have always had a very hard time finding perfumes that smelled nice on me. My chemistry make up must not be that good. That was one of the reasons I was so excited to be asked to review Harvey Princes’ perfume, AGELESS FANTASY. The other reason I was excited is that it’s an anti-aging perfume and let’s face it, I am not getting any younger.
I have seen several reviews on AGELESS FANTASY since receiving it. Everyone seems to have their own opinion about how it smells on them. This just proves my point that perfumes smells differently on everyone. I can tell you that I have asked several of my friends to try it on them, and each one has had a different response. It is definitely a perfume that stays with you. I could use it in the morning and I would smell nice throughout the day.
AGELESS FANTASY has a sweet smell in my opinion. It reminded me of a tropical island with fresh fruits. The first day I put it on I couldn’t wait to see if it made me feel younger. I sprayed it and waited…. Nothing! I didn’t think it was going to work on me. What a bummer!! I started my day and went to my sisters house. I asked her little boy how old he thought I was once I got there. He looked at me and said 24! Okay, maybe it does work!!! It says that when asked, most men thought the woman wearing AGELESS FANTASY to be 8 years younger that she actually was. Let’s just say 24 would be 8 years and then some. When my husband got home, he actually commented on how nice I smelled too. Unfortunately, he didn’t say I looked 24 like my 6 year old nephew had. LOL
AGELESS FANTASY was designed to actually make you smell younger. They used different smells that had been researched by leading dermatologists and doctors to achieve their desired goal. Some of these scents include, pink grapefruit, luscious mango, anti oxidant pomegranate, jasmine and musk. I think the smell they achieved is one that will appeal to many women. If spice is your thing, than this would not be for you. AGELESS FANTASY was NOT tested on animals!
I loved the fact that I did not have to reapply the scent throughout the day. The fragrance was one that stayed with me. It also took very little to get the desired smell I liked. My advice would be use it sparingly as a little goes a long way. Harvey Prince also just came out with a new scent called “FLIRT”. I would love to try it as well. It sounds like another fun and exciting scent. I love wearing something that makes me feel pretty! Hey, if it makes me appear younger at the same time, then that’s a big BONUS!
