Reviewing the book “The Fixer Upper” by Mary Kay Andrews
This is my first time to read Mary Kay Andrews, but it will not be my last! What an intriguing book this was. I could not put it down! It had such an enjoyable plot from start to finish. Dempsey Killebrew is the person of interest in this book. She is a young girl, graduated from law school and working in the political world as a lobbyist. Dempsey, learns about corruption, family roots, bonds, and love in this book.
This book will grab your attention from the first page and hold it to the last. You will grow to love the secondary characters in this book. The house, “Birdsong” will possibly make you want to take a trip down to Guthrie, Georgia yourself! I always hate to see a book like this end. It is like you have to say good-bye to all the new friends you just met!
The book does have mild language in it. You can read an expletive and then go pages and pages before you will see another one. I cannot wait to purchase another Mary Kay Andrews book! Good luck on winning this one for yourself!!

Fav genre of book? Hmmm, that's a hard one, I like quite a few different ones. Right now I'd say 'knitting' novels are my fav. I also like Christian fiction, and of course the Twilight books were a favorite too.
